On the surface, "core values" may sound like empty talk. But you probably identify with some companies beyond their product or service. What does Disney, Nike, or Apple mean to you?

Since 2014, hundreds of chefs have cooked with Dinner Elf. We've found these core values contribute to the best customer experience.

  • Communication - Transparency builds trust. Text customers early and often. Explain problems before they find them. Respond to questions from support.
  • Ownership - Treat Dinner Elf as your own personal chef business. Proactively solve problems, ask customers to recommend you, and act professionally.
  • Detail-oriented - Customers remember the little things. Carefully check their notes, bring treats for the kids or dog, and focus on kitchen cleanup.
  • Empathy - Put yourself in your customer's shoes. Be dependable. If you cancel, provide a thoughtful reason why. Show patience and understanding.
